Sources and credits

Where every word and picture came from, and what this rebuild does not reproduce.

The original site is still live, so this rebuild had real material to work from: three pages, their images, and the design tokens in the site’s own CSS.

Everything on these pages is quoted or condensed from leapconnect.com. No client, price, statistic or service was invented.

Where it came from

  • Pages/, /about-us/ and /case-studies/, fetched on 27 October 2026 and kept in _tools/archive/original-pages/.
  • CopyThe service descriptions, the package prices, the three case studies and the two-sentence company description are the company’s own words, cut down but not rewritten.
  • ImagesThirteen files from /wp-content/uploads/: the logo, the footer mark, the favicon, six service illustrations, two studio photographs and two case-study images. Originals in _tools/archive/site-images/.
  • PaletteRead out of the Elementor CSS the site generates: navy #051a3e, blue #124c8b, yellow #e7df00, cream #fff2e4.
  • TypefacesThe page head loads Poppins, Open Sans and Playfair Display from Google Fonts. All three are self-hosted here.
  • Contactinfo@leapconnect.com and +1 (281) 777-1007, as published in the site footer and top bar.

What is not reproduced

  • The WordPress backend. The site is a WordPress build with Elementor; this is static HTML. Page structure is rebuilt, not exported.
  • The form endpoint. The original posts to the site’s own mail handler. This form validates in the browser and then hands the message to your email app.
  • The hero slider. The original headline area cycles three “Are you looking for…” slides with background imagery. Here it is a single line that cycles the same three questions in text.
  • Two case-study images. The property and inventory case studies were published without photographs; those blocks use a type panel instead of borrowing an unrelated picture.
  • The Elementor animations and icon fonts. Replaced with a small stylesheet and one script.

Photography

Every photograph on this site is the company’s own file. No stock photography was used anywhere, so there is nothing to credit beyond the company itself.

If a future revision needs imagery the company never published, it must be added here with its licence before it is added to a page.

The reel

The eight-second clip on the home page is not company footage — the site publishes no film. It was generated for this rebuild from the company’s own case-study photograph: a slow push-in with a small drift, 1280×720 H.264, no audio, shipped inside the folder so it plays offline.

Deviations, stated plainly

  • The markup is new. Hand-written HTML, one stylesheet, one small script — no WordPress, no Elementor, no jQuery.
  • Copy is condensed. The original service pages are long; the same sentences are kept here as cards, lists and a price table.
  • Prices are the company’s. $2,250, $3,000, $4,500, $15,000, $1,200 and the monthly rates are copied from the site, not rounded.
  • Nothing is requested from another server on load — fonts, images and video all live in the folder.
  • The navigation adds a Sources page so the provenance is one click away; the original navigation had five items.
